Covenant Kids
A big part of Covenant Fellowship is the little people. We feel that God was serious when He used His son Jesus to set the example of how important children are. He made several promises in His word about children and let adults know that it is our responsibility to train them up in the way that they should go. Psalms 78:4-8 tells us that we are to teach the children and even those yet to be born about God so that their hearts will be loyal to God and their spirits will be faithful to God.
The children of today are the leaders of tomorrow. Therefore, our commitment is to inspire a passion for Jesus and to establish a sense of personal significance. Covenant Kids endeavors to provide effective tools and a safe environment necessary to help our kids grow in their relationship with Jesus.
The following classes are held immediately following our worship time during our Celebration Services on Sunday mornings.
CK Little Bees
New Born to 24 months/ Nursery
All babies are a gift from God. Attention is placed on creating and maintaining an environment that is clean, practical and offers a sense of wonder and care. The Nursery volunteers are committed to attending to the immediate needs of the babies. Parents can have confidence in knowing their children are in loving hands.
CK Little Lambs
2 to 4 years/ Preschool
This age group is learning about Jesus and our loving Father God through Bible stories, music, play time and crafts, which are age appropriate. We call them little lambs because the teachers in this class have to keep them all from going astray. It is a joy to watch these little ones as they gain understanding of who Jesus is and that they too can have faith and pray to their Father in Heaven.
CK Soldiers
5 to 8 years/ K - 3RD Grade
Our Soldiers class is one of our biggest due to the large range of ages. The kids are developing an understanding of biblical principles, which will affect their behaviors and interaction with family and friends. This is accomplished through the use of music, drama, crafting, story telling, role- play, memorization of Bible verses and games. We use a one point Bible learning system, which emphasizes one point at a time to help children remember. It is so important to equip our kids for the things that they might face on a daily basis at school or in today's society.
CK Warriors
9 to 12 years/4TH - 6TH/Pre-teens
This class is for the big kids. Now that they are almost teens, we can learn some problem solving techniques and how to cope with peer pressure using interactive role-playing. Crafting, games, puppetry, music, memorization and Bible studies are also an integral part of this ministry. There is a lot of interaction and discussion about the lessons learned. Most of our kids in the Warriors class are ready to take on the whole world. Our job is to help them realize that Nothing is impossible with God, Luke 1:37.
CK Class Rules
1 -I will give my attitude to Jesus.
2 -I will obey my leaders.
3 -R.E.S.P.E.C.T. (That's what God expects of me)
4 - Last but not least, I must have fun.
Summer Camp
Each summer we take all of our children ages 7 -12 on an exciting Summer Camp. The camps are usually Monday through Friday and are all-inclusive with meals, sleeping quarters, games, events and powerful praise and worship. The camps are always life changing for the children and the adult workers that go with them.

Partnering with Parents
Each year we facilitate a unique meeting called Partnering with Parents to Pastor our Kids. At this meeting we build a bridge of communication with the teachers and parents. Both parents and teachers are able to voice their concerns about the spiritual development of the kids. This meeting ignites a sense of vision for better pastoring our kids.
